Since my blog last night was so painfully long, I’ll try to keep this one brief. The picture above is of the chair I put together yesterday. I ordered it from Overstock.com, but they only had one, so I am now playing the waiting game in the hopes that they’ll get another one in some day. I plan to put them in my living room, but haven’t yet come up with any kind of color scheme beyond that, so if anyone has any ideas…feel free to share!
We’ve been home on ‘snow days’ for the last 2 1/2 days, and I’ve had the opportunity to learn that television advertisers really make some strange choices now and then:
- There is an ad for the Sci-Fi channel in which a man takes a live dog and ‘blows it up’ into a balloon dog. Personally, I’m not too keen on their method of inflation:
- The latest tag line for Clear Blue Easy home pregnancy tests boasts that their product is “the most advanced technology you’ll ever pee on.” Obviously these people have never been to a frat party.
That’s it for now. I think I’ll actually have to go to work tomorrow, but then it’s a 3 day weekend!
